Came in bent in sturdy tube. No mercy in shipping. Fortunately the work could be drymounted to flatten but costs more.

Agnus Dei means Lamb of God. This powerful painting depicts the sacrificial death of Christ Jesus the Lord as a substitutional death for all mankind who would receive Him. Almighty God foretold of this coming sacrifice in the symbology of Passover written of in the Torah (Exodus). John the Baptizer recognized Jesus and pronounced, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world".

Such a beautiful but sad painting. Anyone who sees this painting will feel guilty of our cruelty towards helpless animals.A painting that speaks so many words without uttering even one.
