This stunning band of sorrels with white blazes look apprehensively at me in the Calico HMA in NW Nevada. Their spirit of freedom was keenly sensed. Most all of these bands were removed from their rightful legal area here in order to accomodate the selfish demands of livestock ranchers and big game hunters who have targeted the wild horses for discrediting and elimination from their legal areas, even though they are ancient native species in North America who originated here and whose long standing durating here is among the very greatest. Such injustice, must be rectified, reversed and these free spirits restored to their rightful place in the world.
