About Rita Bandinelli
I was born in Rome, Italy, where I live and work. I have always felt deeply fascinated by visual arts, and started painting in oil during my student years. In the following years I took brief art courses in Rome. My influences are all that I see, feel and experience. I generally have either a sketchbook or a camera at hand, as I am sure that there is always something that will catch my eye and be worth being put on canvas. The subjects of my artworks are therefore varied – people, sea- and landscapes, still lifes, mainly rendered with vivid colours and contrasts.
