Item was lost in transit. Tough figuring out how to contact Fine Art. Finally received 6 weeks after placing order. Then received the original shipment.
I was so intrigued by the eye of this gator. I wanted to capture the depth and detail of this reptile. At times, this is all you see of an alligator when approaching a pond or a lake.
I am a semi-retired teacher who loves art. I currently live in the southeast corner of Georgia where people come to enjoy Cumberland Island National Seashore. The coast of Georgia is filled with islands where artists live and/or visit to capture the beauty of the southern marshes, swamps, and coastal flora and fauna. I have been painting for several years in my spare time, but now spend a great deal more time applying myself to art. I am self-taught and learn from experience, mistakes, and from professional artists who publish books for inspiration and instruction. I am married, have four children, six grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
