Average Rating (4.93 Stars):

The image looks wonderful on this bag showing much more detail than I expected. I would like a bit more depth to the bag. It feels a bit shallow compared to the width.

Nice and large. Was hoping for an inside zipper pocket. Also some way to close the top, a zipper or latch.

Artist's Description

"Allosaurus" A red and orange striped allosaurus emerges from a narrow, rocky canyon. Allosauruses were theropod dinosaurs that lived around 150 million years ago. This savage looking creature was likely an apex predator of the late Jurassic era. This artwork actually started out as a test for one one of my prior work,Jurassic Invasion Force ( http://goo.gl/uEABJ5 ). I liked it so much though that I decided to make it a stand alone image for my paleoart series. I particularly like the way the bright color of its skin stands out against the muted tones of the rocks as well as the way it works with the complimentary blue of the sky. I designed the scene so that this awesome predator was emerge from the shadows to give it more of a sense of menace, similar to the way a shark emerges from the murk of the sea. I created this image using digital techniques where I created a virtual snapshot of a digital sculpture, then when over it with image editing software to finalize it. Thanks...

About Daniel Eskridge

I am a forty-something living in the Metro-Atlanta area -- one of the few people who was actually born and raised here. I'm married and have two sons. By day, I am a senior software engineer. But, by night I am a 3D render artist. I have dual degrees from the University of Georgia, one in Computer Science, the other in Fine Art. So, it seems only natural that I attempt to combine the two by producing art using a computer. Plus, I find that it's a bit more practical than painting as it doesn't require all of the clean up, harsh chemicals, or expensive supplies. In fact, I have been a render artist since some of the first ray-tracing programs were made publicly available in the mid 80's. To follow me on facebook CLICK HERE. Check...
