Red amaryllis is large and quite stunning to see. I found this beauty in a local yard and asked if I might get a few shots. The color is as close as I could get it to the flower. The lighting came from behind so I had to assure enough details of the front of the flower showed through. Am really happy this turned out well because I love red flowers.
