I've begun to assemble my favorite equestrian images on canvas for my new parlor (reveal in summer 2025) from the Orientalist Period in the 1880's, the same as the age of my home. This work by Deluermoz is one of his finest as he captures the majesty of the horse, the horseman and the wind all at the same time...wind is nearly impossible to capture, but he has accomplished it! The frames I had selected are now discontinued (story of my life) so nothing will be framed until I find something suitable.

This is exactly what I expected. The colors are all accurate and the paper is good quality. I chose this to match another piece of artwork with similar colors, so it was important that the final result matched the online images. Thanks for an excellent product!

I loved this piece ever since I saw it online. It is gorgeous and so powerful. You do have to cut it to fit the 11x14 but it was simple to do and came out beautifully.
Artist's Description
Amazonica Romantica
This charming picture was one of Pablo's final works, and it heralded an intended return to his earlier genre of painting the plants and landscapes of his beloved Amazon rainforest. The painting depicts a couple hand in hand experiencing the mystic enchantment of the selva illuminated by the full moon.
To the lower left are the large leaves of the cocona plant (Solanum sessiliflorum). Cocona fruit is greatly appreciated in the Amazon for making delicious juices and a sauce essential for eating fish: aji de cocona. Just behind is a Shipibo mahuete from which the ayahuasca liana grows. The feet of the mahuete represent the bond that ayahuasca has with Mother Earth.
About Pablo Amaringo
Recognized as one of the worlds great visionary artists, Pablo Amaringo was renowned for his intricate, colorful paintings inspired by his shamanic visions. A master communicator of the ayahuasca experience--where snakes, jaguars, subterranean beings, celestial palaces, aliens, and spacecraft all converge--Amaringos art presents a doorway to the transcendent worlds of ayahuasca intended for contemplation, meditation, and inspiration. Pablo Amaringo (1938-2009) trained as a curandero in the Amazon, healing himself and others from the age of ten, but retired in 1977 to become a full-time painter and art teacher at his Usko Ayar school in Pucullpa, Peru. The author of Ayahuasca Visions: The Religious Iconography of a Peruvian Shaman...
