I'm very happy with this framed print on glossy canvas. It was from a high-resolution photo and the print was sharp. Framing was great as well.

We love this beautiful, unusual image of my husband's baseball idol. The details of this print offer an important compliment our collection of sports heroes. Thank you!

I bought this as a gift for my wife who is a huge Bonamassa fan and she hung it in her office so she can see it everyday. It is a beautiful canvas print. I’m thinking about decorating my drum room with some beautiful prints as well.
Artist's Description
Amazonica Romantica
This charming picture was one of Pablo's final works, and it heralded an intended return to his earlier genre of painting the plants and landscapes of his beloved Amazon rainforest. The painting depicts a couple hand in hand experiencing the mystic enchantment of the selva illuminated by the full moon.
To the lower left are the large leaves of the cocona plant (Solanum sessiliflorum). Cocona fruit is greatly appreciated in the Amazon for making delicious juices and a sauce essential for eating fish: aji de cocona. Just behind is a Shipibo mahuete from which the ayahuasca liana grows. The feet of the mahuete represent the bond that ayahuasca has with Mother Earth.

A master communicator of the ayahuasca experience--where snakes, jaguars, subterranean beings, celestial palaces, aliens, and spacecraft all converge--Amaringos art presents a doorway to the transcendent worlds of ayahuasca intended for contemplation, meditation, and inspiration. Pablo Amaringo (1938-2009) trained as a curandero in the Amazon, healing himself and others from the age of ten, but retired in 1977 to become a full-time painter and art teacher at his Usko Ayar school in Pucullpa, Peru. The author of Ayahuasca Visions: The Religious Iconography of a Peruvian Shaman...
