Raine - at this point I'm honestly having trouble breathing...thank you! /hug

Love this! It's so intricate :)

Laurie Gibson replied:

Kristina - isn't it tho? I love the contrast of the white on black, it just really stands out to me. Thanks for the lovely comment :)

Laurie, a personal favorite! So much detail and careful design! Just wonderful!

Laurie Gibson replied:

Sometimes that's my favorite aspect of artwork, at least for abstract pieces. I love going crazy with the details. Thanks for taking the time to comment :) I just hope I can do something as nice for the next piece. This one's been hard to top. (it's also a personal favorite.)

This is a nice piece Laurie! Especially love the splash of purple you used!

Laurie Gibson replied:

Andee - Thank you so much :) that purple is actually somewhat sentimental - a few months ago, a woman from the local art gallery gave me some art supplies. A set of professional pencil crayons was part of it. I'm glad you like it, its a lovely color.

Gorgeous and vibrant....absolutely terrific! Peace, Sue

Laurie Gibson replied:

Heather & sue again - hi! As you've probably guessed, I absolutely LOVE color. I'll do black and whites occaisionally, but for myself my preference is color. Not sure of other mediums, but pencil crayons have so much to give, I love the ability to make things glow with the floresent ones. Thanks for another wonderful comment. :p

What a beautiful drawing, Laurie! I love it, everything you did is wonderful:-)!!!

Laurie Gibson replied:

That's a lovely name, Xueling. As for the wonderful comment..thank you. Reading that can't help but make me smile. :) I just hope I can keep improving.

Stunning work Laurie, beautiful use of colors and great "flight" movement. Thanks for sharing~Karen.

Laurie Gibson replied:

This is one of my favorites, Karen. I loved the combination of color and white space, but I think the best part were the lines that seemed to twist and move in the wind. Thank you, SOO much, for your thoughts on this one. Really been enjoying your work, too.
