Here is an American Airlines 777-300 in the new livery paint scheme as it took off out of LAX. Photography was from the Flight Path Learning Center/Museum.

I was born in Zurich, Switzerland. My parents immigrated to the United States shortly after I was born, due to my dad's professional advancement, as a physicist, which required a relocation. We first lived in Michigan, then moved to Los Angeles, where I did most of my schooling. I have since early childhood been fascinated by trains, planes and boats, just like most little boys, but that fascination continued on into my teens and well into adulthood. My other passion, photography, led me to start taking pictures of planes and boats in and around Los Angeles Harbor, and Los Angeles International Airport, as well as at local air shows.
