This was taken at Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford, MA. I always called them Buffalo, so I googled it to see what the difference is. Apparently the American Bison is native to North and South America and Europe, while the other 2 Buffalo species reside in Africa and Asia. There you go, who knew?
