As a kid, my family and I raised a rescued kestrel, and this excellent image makes me nostalgic for that beautiful, playful, fierce little spark of energy. The contrast between the soft plumage and sharp eyes, talons and beak is eloquently expressed here! v/f

Thanks Robert,This was taken a few years back and I am thinking it was my Canon 75x300is and I was about 25 to 30 yards away.It was overcast and very windy that day and kind of dark so the IS feature helped.
