A lovely painting but it was a little dark on the canvas. If I were to reorder, I might order as a print instead, hoping it might be a little brighter.

I was very excited to discover this piece as it has several memorial sentiments on it and they are all beautiful. I got one that I can hang on the wall and it's a beautiful job. Very touching and the artist was great

The word column refers, in fact, to a wide circular pillar (shaft of a column) with a capital and a foundation or pedestal constructed of or appears to be stone. A narrow wooden or metal foundation is usually referred to as a column, and supports with a triangular or other non-rounded portion are usually referred to as piers.
For the function of wind or earthquake technologies, columns can be built to endure lateral forces. Many compression members are sometimes referred to as "columns" owing to specific tension situations.
