This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

NICE.
This Great Egret (Ardea alba) was photographed in very early morning light, using my Canon 400 mm f5.6 at maximum aperture and a very slow shutter speed setting I had selected for still shooting. The only processing was to bring out the colors and contrast. I almost considered this a failure, but it has an almost mystical quality that caused me to rethink it. Tell me what you think. Gary Holmes, photographer: I have always loved to photograph nature, landscapes, abstract, and other found objects of interest. I prefer the challenge of trying to capture the unpredictable spontaneity of things and events as they are occurring. I started with a Kodak Brownie as a child, but entered the world of real photography with a Canon AE-1 in the late 1970's. I have successfully sold a number of my photographs on Fine Art America, and have been recognized in international photography venues. Poster sized prints of three of my photographs were recently installed in a new medical clinic building in a major Texas medical center. My photo, "Blue Norther," was selected by the nonprofit Texas Bluebird Society for its 2010...

Susanne, I somehow missed your post, or my reply got dropped as has been happening lately, anyhow thanks for your appreciative comments and VF. Denise, I am happy you also saw the beauty in this otherwise "imperfect" photo.

This is very cool!! Love the feel of the image. So free and spiritual.

Glad you rethought this and brought it to us. There is an error in thinking that blur is somehow less than perfect, when in fact it is often the defining factor of what breathes life to the image and keeps it in a fluid, living space. V/f
