Description
Inventory #98/41-02EE. Angel's Window is just one of the many sites to see at Cape Royal, North Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. It is actually an arch in a point that juts out into Bright Angel Canyon, but when the light and perspective are right, it actually becomes a window to the view beyond. To get to this viewpoint, one must drive the Cape Royal road to the end, then hike a bit down the edge of the canyon. There is a trail that will take one out onto the point and one can actuall walk on top of the "window." From there the views are magnificent.
