Amazing!

Merton Allen replied:

Kerri, AMAZING! is an understatement. The more applicable descriptors are: spiritual, magical, astounding, always changing colors, Indian legend, winding passageways, very narrow portals (had to walk sideways to get through and/or duck way down), large open "rooms", "chimneys" letting light in from above, completely quiet, dark areas, lighted areas, and of course, the visit of the "Indian Spirits" at high-noon. I spent four hours photographing in the canyon, sometimes just sitting or standing in one place watching the colors change from variations in the light-beams entering from above. My two companions and I took approximately 300 photos between us. UNBELIEVABLE, until you see it yourself. If you can't visit the canyon, you can experience it by looking at my Gallery of photographs. Mert
