The product was as described but the plexiglass part of the frame had a small break in it. Not enough to return the product, but would be careful about ordering again.

I love this artists work and I have several of her creations in various mediums. She’s talented in whatever art forms she does. This piece spoke to me because of the colors and what I see in the design.

Artist's Description
Hermann's map of Virginia superseded John Smith's influential 1624 map as the definitive map of Virginia and Maryland and remained influential well into the 17th century. Many Indian place names from Smith's map are now replaced by English names, and numerous plantations have been added. The map also includes many descriptions of landforms, including rivers, swamps, and forests, as well as a portrait of Augustine Herrman. Original title: Virginia and Maryland as it is Planted and Inhabited This Present Year 1670
