This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
This is an original plein air oil pastel painting of "Antique Row", a historic area in Kensington, MD. Shown is the "Hope Chest", one of the many stores displaying antique furnishings and fascinating other finds. It was painted by the artist in 2013.
About Nancy Heindl
Nancy is a Maryland plein air artist. Over 1,000 of her paintings are in collections both in the U. S. and other countries. Her work is exhibited in shows and galleries, and in an open studio show of her recent work every December. Since 1968 she has painted in oils and won numerous first place and best-in-show awards, and the Grumbacher award for best use of the oils medium. Recently she has tried pastels and oil sticks, and is currently working in acrylics. Nancy is a member of the Frederick Plein Air Artists and the Plein Air Painters Meetup of Silver Spring MD. Thank you, Karen. Every labor day weekend, Kensington MD holds a one-day "Paint the Town" competition for plein air artists. I painted this in their 2013 event. This building is one of the many historic old buildings on this street which sell antique furniture and fascinating jewelry, clothing and items of the past.
