This is an early morning shot of sheep grazing in the countryside in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina.
About William Schmid
WILLIAM P SCHMID I have been taking photos since my teen years. My earliest experience with a camera was photographing wild bears in Canada. Mentored by artist John Dunn, I developed my skills. Using my own darkroom I printed photos for my one-man shows and exhibitions. I was commissioned to do portrait photos for a political think tank. Form and light have always interested me more than color. I have been known for my minimalist compositions but recently the majority of my work focuses on the rural and country landscapes. My work can be seen in several fine art galleries.
