This Siberian tiger was photographed in the winter as the snow can well show. It had just started to warm up but was still in the 20s.
Facts: The tiger is the largest of the big cats and can be to 11 ft and up to 670 pounds. This is a Siberian which are the largest of the big cats along with the Bengal tiger. The typical weight of a these tigers in the wild is around 500 lbs.
It is an incredibly beautiful world out there. Our goal is to try to capture some of it in our images. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest we never lack for places to shoot.
