In the companion piece to “Apricot Canyon 1”, we can follow the river on it’s journey through the canyon. Here, Laura has captured the brilliance of the sun breaking through the canyon from above. It’s warm light glitters off the tree leaves and the water below, bringing a vibrancy and life to this rocky scene. The soft pastel strokes serve as a wonderful contrast with the rocky cliff walls to transport the viewer to this pristine canyon.
