Here's the West Side Restaurant, an old neighborhood mainstay at Broadway and West 69th, where they shot the closing scene of the endearing 2005 romantic comedy "Little Manhattan." But what I love about this corner is the way the nearby Callery pear tree briefly bursts into bloom every year around April 20th -- one of our neighborhood's most reliable signs of spring.
