When I first starting painting I focused on animals and landscapes wet on wet oil painting technique. Today I focus more on painting brilliant colored abstract/contemporary pieces using acrylic medium. It is great relaxation as you approach the canvas and you just let the colors flow There are no boundaries and it is interesting to see the reaction of people looking at a piece. Everyone sees something different and they make great conversational pieces. I am still somewhat of an adventurer when it comes to art. For the holiday season I painted over two dozen Holiday Balls featuring various birds such as cardinals, bluebirds, eagles and parrots. I also painted a couple deer's and then abstract balls where I just allow the paint to flow...
