This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things.The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!
This is a 30 inch wide by 40 inch tall heavy duty gallery wrapped canvas painting. I used acrylic paints. This is the view of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse as seen from the north side. A nine banded armadillo is snuffling around the the foreground grass. I saw many armadillos around the lighthouse. They are common to the area.
I have been dealing with a lot of major changes in life. Something about the changing sky and the stalwart old lighthouse seemed to call to me. Even the little armadillo seemed important as a symbol of things changing in the world and yet...not. This large painting was therapeutic for me.
On May 21, 1838, Florida territorial delegate, Charles Downing, requested a lighthouse be built on Cape Canaveral. The first lighthouse completed in January 1848 stood 65 feet tall. Although born in upstate New York, I grew up mostly in Nevada and California. The fabulous panoramic views of the far west inspired me to begin painting and photographing it’s beauty. I’ve lived in various areas in the states and in Europe but always had the desire to express through painting and photography. While living in the Mediterranean, I was especially influenced by the great Renaissance art and the chiaroscuro work of Caravaggio. I began with oils, worked with a wide variety of mediums but now mostly work in acrylic, oils, and photography.
