Designing a suit of armor, shield, and weapon is great fun. I decided to paint a guard posing in front of a wall wearing the set I created. In the fantasy genre most people, these days, paint dark violent scenes filled with mist and extreme action poses. I decided to compose a scene that's more what you'd get if you where to snap a photograph of your buddy posing in the bright afternoon sunshine. Naturally if your planning on having your picture taken your going to want your armor polished till it shines. This guy's squire is an expert.
