Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Watercolour of an artist working at her easel on a warm summer day.
Outside the door the garden is flooded with sunlight and a house is just visible in the lush vegetation, -perhaps this is the artist's own space -a studio away from the family home -at the corner of the garden.
Sunlight pours in to the studio through the door and also through a window which can be seen reflected in the glass of the wooden cupboard on the wall behind the door. Plenty of light is so essential for an artists studio !
The woman artist wears a smock to protect her clothes and has discarded her sun hat which lies on the floor. She is absorbed in her work and is unaware of onlookers !
I find that watercolour is the ideal meduim with which to portray sunlight.
