This was the 2nd purchase that went with Detroit Skyline photo which I had printed onto a beach towel. This was a simple yet classic logo for Detroit Lions Football & it’s perfect (shoutout to artist Joe Hamilton). I also want to mention how amazed I was with this website Fine Art America. When I searched what might be available for Detroit Lions artistry, it brought up at least a dozen pages including paintings, drawings, photography……many many choices….it was great. I will certainly return for future purchases. THANK YOU!

Love, Love, Love! This is my story: My son recently purchased a home in the Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills, MI AND he is an avid fan of the Detroit Sports Teams AND the home has a pool!! So…..I just knew he needed to show a little “Detroit Love” at the pool this summer. I knew it could be a risk putting that photo on a beach towel but it turned out brilliant. The colors and details are all very distinct. Shoutout to the artist Adam Dilley for the aerial photo of Ford Field, Comerica Park and the Detroit skyline, Beautiful!……wish I had taken a picture of it before sending off to my son. P.S…I also purchased a 2nd towel for his Golden Retriever with one of the classic Detroit Lions logo. Happy with that purchase also!

Realistic acrylic painting of the Swedish painter, sculptor and etcher; Anders Zorn, painted by the Dutch fine artist Paul Meijering - the original painting is 90 x 120 cm and for saleAnders Leonard Zorn (18 February 1860 - 22 August 1920) was one of Sweden's foremost artists. He obtained international success as a painter, sculptor, and etcher.Among Zorn's portrait subjects were King Oscar II of Sweden, and three American Presidents, Grover Cleveland, William H. Taft, and Theodore Roosevelt.Zorn was born and raised on his grandparents' farm in Yvraden, a hamlet near the village of Utmeland in the parish of Mora, Dalarna. He studied until the age of twelve in the school at Mora Strand before progressing in the autumn of 1872 to a secondary grammar school in Enköping. From 1875 to 1880 Zorn studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm, where he amazed his teachers with his talent. Members of Stockholm society approached him with commissions. This was how Zorn met Emma La...
For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique. At that time (1980) the tendency of the abstract was running riot, and to his dismay and disappointment Paul found that the trade of the ancient masters was merely 'old hat', the realistic art being disregarded and looked down upon. After two years of useless botchery, there was only one conclusion to draw: "get autodidact, be a self-taught person!" Paul then left the academy to work for a living, but at the back of his mind there always loomed the passion of his life: to paint. At his spare time...
