My sister in law absolutley loves it. She sent a picture of it ot us. When we join her in Hawaii we will be looking for one for our own walls...I love the colors! If our walls weren't already filled here I'd already have one for myself as well...

Artist's Description

This poster is first publication of an evolving understanding of the Mid-Atlantic forest's creation of topsoil. The original old growth forests' top soil in the Mid-Atlantic had phenomenal depths. Sadly, today the topsoil depth is very shallow and old forests are gone. The image before you has been a five year project between artist, Judy Hanks, and The Audubon Naturalist Society's Conservation Program Director, Diane Cameron, and her host of contributing professional experts and scientists in the various related fields. The excitement of real science is its discoveries. This image will continue to evolve or expand into additional visual images as new and exciting discoveries are made in the effort to bring the Mid-Atlantic forests into healthier outcomes.
