I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Blue crabs aren’t at all native to Austin, but this guy was made for the central Texas town. In this playful companion piece to “Jellyfish Dance”, Laura has captured the brilliant colors of this feisty crustacean. He was crafted specifically as a present to the fourth grade teacher at Grace Academy in Georgetown, Texas and will delight generations of students to come. When displayed together, these two sea creatures will entertain your friends and family too.
About Laura Gabel
Unlike so many other artists you may have read about, Laura was not drawing by age 2. She never doodled, sketched, or thought about being an artist until much, much later in life. Like many silver linings, Laura’s discovery and desire to paint were born out of a very difficult event. Laura’s artistic journey was motivated out of a desire to” heal my heart and my hurts”. Her art exemplifies the phrase: “It’s never too late.” She wants others to be encouraged by her journey and to follow the dreams that have been innately woven into the fabric of each person by the Creator.
