I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

Great gift for my beach going family member who liked my Cape Cod oil painting. Color is terrific !
This diesel engine was built in 1960 and still runs on the Austin Steam Train tourist railroad from Cedar Park to Burnet in Central Texas, This engine is one of two left in service, was built by Alco and has 2400 horsepower, which is plenty to pull the heavy passenger cars in the consist. The photo was taken of the diesel engine stopped on the mainline in Burnet Texas.
I have always been interested in art and especially photography. I also worked in the film industry for a time, so the technical side has influenced my work, especially the use of software to bring out more of the beauty hidden in the image than the eye sees at first. I find subjects for my images from something that attracts the eye. The color and vibrancy of birds or the color, form and composition of landscapes are examples. My interest in antique and other markets is driven by the way vendors create compositions that I capture with a camera that otherwise would only exist for a few hours. The nautical subjects are driven by memories of going to sea in the merchant marine while in my early twenties. Images Copyright James G....
