When Summers heat and daylight dim
Green turns warmer on each tree limb
Autumn Witch is now on duty
Squirrels scurry collecting booty
They know Winter Witch comes next
With bitter cold shell have them hexed
Autumn Witch will harvest first
Apple cider to quench her thirst
Fat round pumpkins, squash and corn
Her hat is shaped like plentys horn
Pitch black cat and cawing crows
Follow everywhere this witch goes
The last flower garden of each year
To Autumn Witch is very near
The poppy and chrysanthemum
Are products of Fall Witchs green thumb
The animals feast and store
Until they are stuffed and sore
V-formations are heading south
Acorns fill chipmunks cheeks and mouth
All is quiet when autumn retires
This is just as the next witch requires
