SILVERVISION FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY, PAINTING, AND PHOTOART ---- Some artists have carved for themselves a distinct place in the art world. They create work of a certain genre or stick to one style for which they are internationally known. I am not satisfied as an artist unless I am trying new techniques and creating a variety of works. Welcome to my world as I see it from behind the lens of a camera, the end of a paintbrush, or some creative manipulation of images on the computer. As an artist and an educator, I have an interest in sharing my passions. I hope that my images can make others happy, or make them see something a little differently. I'd like my artwork to find a place in your heart and home and for you to get as much...

I think your image if wonderful! But as you wish for comments, in the 200 Club group, I would say cropping a bit from the bottom and top, could make this even more beautiful. The colors are wonderful!
Colin Hunt
As an example, have a look at the tote bag image, and you will see what I mean.
Colin Hunt
For me, the blue in the top right hand corner is a distraction pulling your eyes away from the end of the tunnel formed by the path and the trees. I would crop to a square, loosing most of the image at the top ensuring that the tree on the right has its top cut of. The colours are great, but could do with a little bit more life in them.
Nina Silver replied:
Thanks for the suggestions, Colin. The thing I like about FAA is that customers can get a variety of products with a variety of cropping options.
Doug Matthews
Nina - I think you have a beautiful fall shot here. As far as constructive comments, you may want to try deepening the colours a little bit more all around. This can be done with the levels sliders in PS. I also agree that a tiny bit can be cropped off the bottom using the 5 x 7 ratio to get a perfect fit for a greeting card size.
Nina Silver replied:
Thanks for the suggestions, Doug. I appreciate the time you took to look at this.
Iryna Burkova
This is an outstanding capture, Nina!
Nina Silver replied:
Thanks so much, Iryna.
Barbie Corbett-Newmin
This is a really pleasant, clear shot with nice colors and an inviting glow at the end of the trail, I think I would like it a little better with less of the bare tracks in the foreground.
Nina Silver replied:
Thanks for your comments, Barbie. I wasn't prepared to cut off those amazing trees in the foreground. They make the statement in this image.
