Artist's Description
This mid 20th century US Military History print features a B-17 Bomber of the 8th Air Force conducting an air-raid on Focke Wulf Plant, which was at the time located in Marienburg, Germany. Currently known as Malbork, Poland, the region in 1943 was one of the strongest German bastions, owing to which the Allied Forces suffered heavy casualties.
