The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This B-17 Flying Fortress, the Liberty Belle, photograph was taken March 2011 during a fly-in, which was sponsored by the Liberty Foundation, at the Meridianville airport, near Huntsville, AL. This B-17 Flying Fortress was on display alongside a P-40 Warhawk. Just 3 months later the Liberty Belle suffered an in-flight emergency which led to the loss of the plane. Thankfully, crew and passengers escaped injury. Details can be found on the Liberty Foundation’s website at www.libertyfoundation.org. In an effort to help the Liberty Foundation continue its work of historical awareness, J Shivers Photography will donate 25% of profits made from sales of photographs of the P-40 Warhawk or B-17 Flying Fortress, the Liberty Belle, to the organization.
