A little disappointed. I thought it would be a much more realistic/accurate picture; instead it is a heavily pixilated reproduction but still reasonably satisfied

The fox has always been my spirit animal, and this particular piece by Nic really captures the essence of that connection. Ironically, about four years ago I purchased a painting that could have been The Fox and the Forest's brother from another mother. That painting now hangs in my bedroom as a companion to this work. She is described as having "a head full of ideas, imaginary places, and quirky creatures . . ." The Fox and the Forest is a perfect combination of the imaginary and the quirky.

Designed by Boeing B-29 Superfortress is a four-engine propeller-driven heavy and was flown primarily by the United States during World War II and the Korean War. It was one of the largest aircraft operational during World War II and very advanced for its time. It featured a pressurized cabin, all dual wheeled, tricycle landing gears, and a remote, electronic fire-control system that controlled four machine gun turrets. A manned tail gun installation was semi-remote. The name "Superfortress" continued the pattern Boeing started with its well-known predecessor, the B-17 Flying Fortress. Designed for high-altitude strategic bomber role, the B-29 also excelled in low-altitude nighttime incendiary bombing missions. One of the B-29's final roles during World War II was carrying out the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Of the 3,970 B-29 bombers that were built during World War II, FIFI is the only B-29 in the world that's still capable of flight.

My love for photography came at an early age with the gift of a camera for Christmas. Over the years I've shot a variety of subjects eventually finding my calling capturing the style and beauty of automobiles. My catalog runs the gamut from early American vintage to exotic super-cars with muscle-cars and imports included in the mix. Most recently I have begun adding some aviation pieces to my portfolio. The style that I developed working with cars seems to translate well with this subject matter too. Look for more of these among my works as time and opportunity allow. If you'd like help finding a...
