About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Acrylic Print Reviews (900)

Average Rating (5 Stars):

September 12th, 2018

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

I have seen this in person many times. I thought it would be nice to have a picture of it. I am so glad I got this.

I lived in the area and saw Mt. Rainier often. I used to call it "my" mountain. Now, I have a photo of it to remind me of its beauty.

I had 3 painting on my order. I ordered oversized images on acrylic with metallic mountings and they look beautiful in our restaurant. Planning to order another set for our other location!

Artist's Description

B52-H - Stratofortress (BUFF) The mighty sub-sonic bomber that has been the mainstay of the US airborne strike arm for five decades. Contracted for in 1952 and reached service in 1965 the B52 has seen active service in the Cold War, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. It has been so long in service that one US aircrew members father and grandfather also served with B52s. Though reduced in numbers from the original 740 to currently 94 the BUFF is expected to serve until the 2040s!! (BUFF - big ugly fat fella -or something similar to fella) This example, based in Louisanna, conducted a fly-by at the Leuchars airshow this year and is caught in the September soft evening light. The colour scheme, or rather non-colour scheme, seems so muted for such an impressive aircraft - not at all in keeping with its massive weapons potential.
