Average Rating (4.82 Stars):

I am familiar with this talented artist, Lenore Senior, and appreciate her work. The towels were much better quality than I expected. So soft and such a beautiful replication of Lenore's artwork. They look great with the wall art I already have in place. I appreciate all the different product forms that FineArtAmerica offers. I have ordered Lenore's work on greeting cards, too, and they were beautiful and of a very good quality. Thank you!

Artist's Description

Hand made pyrography burned on Birch Plywood. Please keep in mind the original is much better than what you see in this photograph. Pyrography on any medium offers texture to the medium. Please note the dimensions listed below are for the framed piece, not just the image. Danette Smith 2008

It is the art of drawing with fire, also known as wood burning. Pyrography is very versatile because it can create designs on wood, leather, paper, and other mediums, using heated tools that burn away some of the surface. Every stroke is painstakingly drawn entirely by hand making each piece of art original and unique. My work is inspired by photography. I describe my style...
