It seems everyone and everything needs to protect their "turf" at the beach, whether you have beach towels or little legs! I always enjoy watching how wildlife interact with each other and how the smallest of creatures can sometimes behave like and/or believe that they are as big and powerful as everything else!!

My first career is that of a registered nurse; after 15 years working as a health professional I decided to become a stay-at-home mom for my two children. Always having been an artist of sorts; prior to nursing school I had been a stained glass artist for many years and have always "dabbled" in creative endeavors. It wasn't until I started taking drawing and painting classes several years ago that I discovered my love for painting, which I have been immersed in ever since. I have sold work while exhibiting in area art shows, restaurants and local galleries. I love nature, the outdoors and the ocean, so a lot of my work reflects that; I also love to inject humor and whimsy into my paintings when the mood strikes me....
