Thanks for the nice comment and fave Diannah!

I appreciate your comment Wanda. I don't often "setup" an image for photographing, but this was one of the rare times I tried to help out the flower with some back-lilghting. The extraction of the previous background and replacement with a gradient helped as well. :)

Excellent lighting. f/v

Thanks Neal, for featuring my image in the "Macro Photography Group".

Thanks Kristin. I thought I'd try backlighting the flower because I personally find these one solid color daffodils rather plain if you don't do something to help them out. :)

Great details, Brian, and I like the backlighting. It makes for an interesting shot. Vote.

Thanks Randy for the nice comment and for featuring my image in your group "Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery".

Wow factor, Brian! Love the back lighting, and your background is superbly presented to accentuate the gorgeous daffodil as the center stage feature!

Carry-all Pouch Reviews (191)

Average Rating (4.72 Stars):

March 22nd, 2019

The bottom seam was stitched so closely to the dinosaur that the legs of the animal were incorporated into the seam and ruined the appearance of the overall design. This has occasionally been a problem with other designs and seam stitching. Quality control not in place. An accurate replacement should be provided. This was to be included in young granddaughter's birthday package. Was unsuitable to gift.

March 21st, 2019

This product was stitched well and the image as featured on the FineArtAmerica site was positioned on the finished zippered pouch as promised.

March 21st, 2019

Quality of product, placement of image was better. Actual placement of lettering of "enjoy the Ride" did not all appear on same side of zippered pouch. Only "the Ride" appeared on the front panel with the bike. In view of timing to provide this as a gift to my granddaughter I no longer have possession of the pouch for photographing. This can be achieved if needed in order to prove my point and to provide the customer a better finished product as featured on their FineArtAmerica site.

March 21st, 2019

Poor quality control of seaming alignment did not allow full image as shown on original FineArtAmerica page. Below you will see how unsuitable the final product assembly and stitching was. A corrected zipper pouch to reflect the design placement as promoted should be provided to customer.

Artist's Description

2D image of a single yellow backlit daffodil. The background has been extracted and replaced with a gradient greenish color.

About Brian Wallace

I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
