The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Bird photography is new to me, and has become a welcome distraction from the boredom of not being with friends while being mindful of Covid 19 restrictions.
Our backyard is very close to Boone Lake Tennessee, and that fact as well as being in a rural setting attracts many varieties of bird species. These 4 are but a few. The Blue Jay is obvious, as is the male red cardinal. Below the cardinal is the Red-bellied woodpecker and last is the Carolina Wren

My photography has its roots going back to my experiences with infrared film. It was there that I saw how an image could be manipulated to something much more different than what was first seen. I still compose some photos from the infrared spectrum only now I use a camera converted to IR. When digital came along it was an easy move to software and all the possibilities that were and are now possible with their use.
