I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Another one of my pet roosters is in the limelight again. The original painting was sold at the Western and Wildlife Art Show in Puyallup, WA. He is one of a series of mini paintings I did specifically for the show. I have had more fun with these than thought I would.
About Carlene Salazar
Carlene Salazar has a Master of Fine Arts Degree, from Washington State University, a Bachelors Degree in Art from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Certificate in WEB Design from Sessions College of Design, Arizona. She has been painting for over 50 years, and has won numerous awards for both paintings and photographs. She is an active member of the Peninsula Art League in Gig Harbor, WA, The Rainier League of Arts, and ARTrails of Southwest Washington. Her studio is open during the ARTrails studio tour, 3rd and 4th weekend in September and by appointment. Her images are inspired from extensive travel both in the US and abroad. She has been able to capture the beauty in places that are not usually know as a place for tourists...
