A Barn Owl comes in for landing with what appears to be a smile on its face. Taken in Denver, Colorado. While a very common owl and found across much of the globe, the Barn Owl is one that is rarely seen. It prefers to remain hidden until after dark when it then comes alive and is as effective of a predator as any raptor. It has extraordinary eyesight and hearing allowing it to be one of the most extraordinary nighttime hunters in the animal kingdom.
