I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

At 4 pm I headed out to find Araan Lake after visiting the Southampton Amphitheater. I didn't find Araan Lake but I did find this collection of buildings on the east side of Araan Township Road B-Line. There are actually three barn roofs. The fourth roof belongs to the house. I thought the name of the road was appropriate for me.. "Bee-Line Road". It was a very straight road and motorists did whistle along at a good clip. One lady stopped to look and thought that the painting was really good and had captured the scene. I had to change the roof line of the barn a bit to make it work. There were some Charlois cattle that meandered around while I painted. The winds were northwesterly as witnessed by the blowing weeping willow. The bands of cirrostratus had already advanced well to the northeast of Southampton. This painting is almost a study in different types of trees: a couple of weeping willows (one huge one behind and a small one in front); a type of tall, skinny popular and a soft...

About Phil Chadwick

Trained at Queens University as a nuclear physicist, Phil the Forecaster has been a professional meteorologist since 1976. Painting has however been his passion forever. For ten years, he studied under the late Mario Airomi, a famous Italian artist. Phil paints what he knows best: weather, nature, canoes and his family. There are not enough hours in the day to record the inspiration that abounds. Phil paints mainly en plein air striving for impressionistic realism. Something intangible and sometimes magical enters the art when one is actually out in the elements surrounded by inspiration. Bold colours and shapes can be found in the natural world if you only look. Phils art hangs in many private and corporate collections around the...
