I photographed these barred owls on a boat trip through the Okefenokee Swamp (National Wildlife Refuge) in Georgia, in April, 2018.
I have been an avid lover of nature for decades, and a few years ago I got a camera for my birthday! I love bringing the images I see from the outdoors to my computer, and then sharing them with the world! I live in Atlanta, GA, and spend a lot of time exploring the Southeastern mountains, plains, and beaches. I also take my photo equipment on trips within the U.S., but not beyond, as yet, just because it's so heavy! I'll figure that out at some point, too.
