i purchased this quilt cover as a gift for my daughter, the quilt cover was lovely however i was very disappointed that matching pillow cases weren't included... it's standard for pillow cases to be included when you purchase a quilt cover, so i was a little embarrassed that they weren't...

Artist's Description

A Toothbrush, Permanent Ink, a Glove, and a Technical Pen, were used to render this image. I dipped the brisles in the ink an flicked the brush to spray ink. I masked areas while working in others to build the values. A friend had asked me if I could put this together for him. He was always fishing for a trophy bass. I think the crawdad may get away!

I began to be serious about art after a bad incident with a foot launched sailplane(1977) at 24 years old. I had always liked to draw and would draw pictures from Mad Magazine and other Comics of the times(60's). Faced with rehabilitation and a young family's needs, I remembered my drawing skills. It was good fortune that I was allowed to enter Commercial Art classes at The Falls Community College in Spokane WA. (1978). While there I also took Art History, Fine Arts classes and studied the styles of contemporary Illustrators. While in school my artwork was used by Spokane Magazine. My first job out of school was for the US Air Force Survival School as a disabled civilian,(Visual Information Specialist). I was hired to do support...
