I studied classical painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago then transferred to Parsons School of Design in New York City. There I began a love affair with oil paints. I love the smell and the way they move around the canvas. I also work in pencil, pastels and acrylics. I changed my course to graphic design believing the digital skills I would acquire would help my career, while my fine arts knowledge would enhance my graphic work. I painted solely in oils but...
