...Right on the edge
of the surf,
these classic
white adirondack chairs
face a most glorious sunrise.
The clouds are lit up
in golds
as the sun peeks
out from behind the layers
of low cumulus clouds
creating pretty light rays
through the cracks
in the cloud layer.
The waves are crashing
on the sandbar,
frothy with salty suds
as the tide comes in.
The wet sand licks
around the feet
of the chairs
as each wave
comes closer
and closer
to pulling them
out to sea...
