History is my hobby and wily statesman Maurice Talleyrand an unexpected hero. This image is of him aged 40 in Philadelphia exile: bored, lonely and homesick for Paris. This second mug now makes a pair. I chose the mauve background to match the upholstery of my neoclassical office sofa & chair.

My son has always loved Bob Dylan and says he’s the best songwriter ever. He loves this coffee mug and uses it daily! The artist depiction of Dylan is perfect, brooding, intense and a wonderful rendition of a soulful artist!
