Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Love this cute design on the blue background. Was impressed by how well it turned out on a fleece blanket...very comfortable and true to color.

Nature is my primary source of inspiration, and color my main mode of expression in realistic, abstract and surreal artwork. I love combining art and science. I feature real species in natural history paintings, as I can't imagine subjects more wonderful and bizarre than those found in nature. Inspiration is more intuitive for my abstract work. I employ multi-layered colors to explore micro and macrocosms of energy, dimensions, and the cosmos. Thank you for the comments! As for your question, no, I have never seen Hirst's butterfly artwork. It was wonderful to research the insects as I was preparing to do this painting. They are so amazingly colorful and patterned! Most are too small to be very noticeable until viewed up very close or magnified. The mandala arrangement became a way for me to organize the beetles into 7 families of species.
