Beautiful Cove was an image a long time in the making. I often drove over a particular bridge on Hwy 1 and saw this beautiful cove where the Garrapata Creek flows to the Pacific Ocean but never had the weather conditions and ambition to forge my way down to take a look. I'm glad I finally did because the are is wonderful.
About Edward Mendes
I'm a nature and landscape photographer working out of the Central Valley of California. The area is an ideal place to live and work as I'm less than two hours from both the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains and the wonders of the Big Sur Coast, the two of which are major focus' of my work. I've won numerous awards for my photographic works and have been honored with finalist titles in many more including the Hasselblad Master Awards twice.
